Cafe Luxembourg is a great French cafe if you want bistro dining in a pleasant atmosphere. The staff were very accommodating and found seating quickly for me. The salad and the ham croquette hit the spot. Prices were reasonable. This place feels like a NYC institution and is worth the visit.

Nice UWS restaurant with a gorgeous patio for outdoor dining. I loved the moules frites (get some extra bread to soak up the sauce!) and their bread pudding. Solid spot, and not too hard to get a table here.

Ambiance and service 5/5. We had the absolute sweetest server who told us about being a singer songwriter and his creative experiences during COVID. He was just so nice and friendly and waited on us with such care even though we were only there for apps and drinks. Outside seating was lovely on a spring day! Food 5/5 for what we ordered but I wasn't in love with the menu options (4/5) and prices ($$-$$$). I absolutely loved the zucchini fries which came out piping hot and moist inside and a yuzu aioli dipping sauce which is why I had ordered it. My friend I dined with us a chef and he was impressed. We also got the broccolini, a classic dish, which was delicious. Mocktails 4/5 - we came to drink mocktails as both of us were not drinking. We were surprised to find a robust mocktail list; my friend got the phony Negroni and he sipped on his. I got this peach puree ginger mocktail which was delicious but not a large portion for $14. I would like to try some of the other mocktails if I come again. It's right by Lincoln Center and Columbus Circle, so I could see how it's a great location to meet up before another activity.

Excellent exquisite dining experience. Amazing food, great waitstaff, a beautiful space. 5 stars all around. - Cheeseburger with gruyere, - fries, - Croque Monsieur (with fried egg and more fries). - - Guinness (ok, 2 Guinnesses) - a virgin Mary (excellently balanced), - finished with a cappuccino (with espresso strong enough that it actually needed the milk). A bit on the pricey side, but all in consideration, worth it.
